TIPS & NEW STUFF

SKU Tags are a relatively recent addition to your MBS, and can be a useful way to create further product groupings.

Under Settings > Product Tags you can create the tags you’ll assign to SKUs.

You can then assign those tags to SKUs under Settings > SKUs.

When you click to edit a SKU you’ll see the Tags field where you can associate tags to SKUs.

You’ll then be able to filter by your Tags anywhere you have the SKU Selector.

The following example is under Customers > Generate Report:

And for Graphs, where you can view graphs for One O These or All Of These once a Tag is selected:

“One Of These” shows results for criteria that match at least one of the specified Tags.

“All Of These” shows results for criteria that match all of the selected Tags.

SELLERS’ PARADISE

Here at ManageByStats we’ve been working on our SEO (Search Engine Optimization), in order to appear more often for people on a quest to find seller tools to help them with their Amazon business.

SEO is a moving target, in that the best SEO practices are constantly evolving, and therefore require regular oversight.

One of the experts in the field is Yoast, and this week we thought we’d share a post from them regarding long tail keywords …

Why Focus On Long Tail Keywords?

THE WORLD OF AMAZON

Amazon has significantly scaled down or relocated promotions of its private label products in recent weeks.

These promotions were exclusively reserved for Amazon’s own private label products and appeared in highly visible areas of the site, like the top of search results or next to the “buy box” of a competitor’s product page …

HUMOR

An Uber passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question.

The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the footpath, and stopped inches from a shop window.

For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said, “Look man, don’t ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!”

The passenger apologized and said, “I didn’t realize that a little tap would scare you so much.”

The driver replied, “Sorry, it’s not really your fault. Today is my first day as an Uber driver – I’ve been driving a hearse for the last 25 years.”

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“I never make the same mistake twice. I make it, like, five or six times. You know, just to be sure.”
