Welcome to a new week and grand new possibilities.
Next week a good chunk of the MBS team will be at SellerCon in Las Vegas. This is the year’s biggest event for Amazon sellers, and we certainly hope to see many of you there.
In this issue we give you tips on how to add users to your MBS. Check out Tips & New Stuff for more. Under Seller Insight we give you 5 techniques for getting repeat customers, and in The World of Amazon we cover the latest updates on Amazon’s next big bid for expansion — and securing their online retail dominance.
To your continued success.
TIPS & NEW STUFF
Did you know you can add users and grant rights to your ManageByStats? If members of your team, partners, remote assistants or others require access to use your MBS tools, you have the ability to give them permissions according to need.
In your MBS, under Settings, select Users and you’ll see your list of users.
The main account admin, the one you used to set up MBS, will have full admin rights and will not be able to be edited or removed. You’ll only be able to change the password for the main account.
All other accounts can be removed or edited, adjusting permissions as needed.
When you add a new user you start by selecting a role:
Each base role comes with certain permissions. Once a user has been added you can click the Edit pencil icon to add or remove permissions, customizing according to need.
MBS lets you assign access to each function in the program, as well as control access by brand. This makes it possible to specify granular rights, ensuring your team can see just the data they need and use the tools required for the job.
More info is available in the MBS Knowledge Base:
Add whomever you need, as many as you need, and let your team start helping you manage your Amazon business using ManageByStats.
Repeat customers are the most profitable customers. They spend more per sale and offer the best ROI on advertising spend. However, stats show only 27% of initial sales develop into repeat customers.
By following these 5 tips you can cut down on churn and turn casual buyers into loyal customers, customers that connect with your brand and keep coming back for more …
THE WORLD OF AMAZON
Amazon continues to lay the smack down. This is a follow-on to last week’s updates on the latest news of Amazon’s move to one-day delivery. Some numbers are now available, and it looks like Amazon will offer single day delivery on 10 million products — 5 times as many products as Walmart offers with plain old Two-Day delivery.
Walmart is huge, no doubt, but as the next closest competitor to the Godzilla of retail, they have a long way to go to catch up — if parity is even possible. This latest move eclipses much of any hope they might’ve had.
For all you Amazon Sellers out there, this is great news …
Interviewer: “I heard you’re extremely quick at math.”
Me: “Why yes, as a matter of fact, I am.”
Interviewer: “What’s 14 times 27?”
Interviewer: “That’s not even close.”
Me: “Yeah, but it was fast.”
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
