Hello & WelcomeThis week we’ve got two new MBS recurring events to announce. Check them out in Tips & New Stuff. And have a fantastic week selling on Amazon!

We’ve been running this new segment now for a few weeks, and it’s been getting rave results. We’re happy to see you taking advantage of what the Guru has to offer! :-)We intend to keep running it, as a service to you.Submit your biggest questions right here:Ask The Guru A Question Last Week’s Q & AQuestionI opened a Seller Account as a business with my new LLC, and that has been blocked because I wasn't able to produce a utility bill as I live in the EU. Asked for permission to open an individual seller account, and now that has been blocked because of affiliation with the first account. Do I try and reactivate the first account with a newly-minted mobile phone utility bill, or let both accounts die in 90 days and start over?AnswerTypically, once an account is shut down during the initial setup, it is almost impossible to get reinstated. In this scenario it would be best to start over. Another route is to buy an existing account that has already been verified, and then transition all of the business information to your new entity over several weeks. Keep in mind that Amazon tracks seller accounts by your cookies and your IP address so you’ll need to access your new account from either a new internet connection and a clean browser, or a VPS (virtual private server).

Unprecedented GrowthUS e-commerce reached market share levels it would have only gotten to in 2022. According to the Department of Commerce, e-commerce represented 13.4% of total retail spending in Q1 2021. Before the pandemic, it was expected to be 12.3%.The year of growth from Q1 2020 to Q1 2021 was going to happen over two years instead. The pandemic pulled it forward by one year. A much smaller step change than severe lockdowns and store closures would have suggested …Two Years of E-Commerce Growth in One Year

The local bar was so sure that its bartender was the strongest man around that they offered a standing $1000 bet.The bartender would squeeze a lemon until all the juice ran into a glass, and hand the lemon to a patron. Anyone who could squeeze one more drop of juice out would win the money. Many people had tried over time (weight-lifters, longshoremen, etc.) but nobody could do it.One day this scrawny little man came into the bar, wearing thick glasses and a polyester suit, and said in a tiny squeaky voice.“I’d like to try the bet.” After the laughter had died down, the bartender said OK, grabbed a lemon, and squeezed away. Then he handed the wrinkled remains of the rind to the little man.But the crowd’s laughter turned to total silence as the man clenched his fist around the lemon and six drops fell into the glass. As the crowd cheered, the bartender paid the $1000, and asked the little man.“What do you do for a living? Are you a lumberjack, a weight-lifter, what?”The man replied, “I work for the IRS.”

“Assume that no one really needs what you sell, because they probably don’t. In a little over 25 years, we’ve gone from an economy based on scarcity of goods and services to one that offers unimaginable abundance. There’s very little you can sell that can’t be gotten elsewhere. Focus instead on how you sell what you sell. Completely differentiate your customer experience and make sure it’s remarkable. Products come and go, but there will always be a market for truly remarkable experiences.” - Doug Stephens To your success,Your ManageByStats Team Read Our Newsletters Online! Share Your Thoughts About ManageByStatsWe’ve made it easy to leave a review: Tell Us What You Think About MBSThanks for taking a moment to give us your feedback! And don't forget to share ManageByStats with your friends.
