Hello & Welcome

This week we’ve got a replay from a phenomenal webinar hosted by our partners at Titan Network. Our own CEO, Philip Jepsen, was a guest speaker, along with a dozen other high-profile Amazon sellers and experts. Talk about a great way to kick off the New Year!

Catch the replay in Seller Insight.

Also in Seller Insight, we have a featured post from us, your friends here at ManageByStats, on winning with Amazon PPC in 2020.

In The World of Amazon we talk about Amazon brands, and in Tips & New Stuff we cover Keyword Scout, a reverse-ASIN lookup tool that’s in your MBS right now, free to use and waiting for you.

To an amazing week!

This week let’s talk about Keyword Scout, a tool that’s part of the Catapult suite already in your ManageByStats.

Did you know you have a suite of free, specialized tools in MBS?

Keyword Scout is one of the tools, in the Catapult section of your MBS menu:

The Catapult tools are designed to help you optimize your product listings, drive conversions and grow your sales. Keyword Scout is where you start. Use it to find the top keywords your competitors are using and ranking for, so you can evaluate and apply them to your own listing.

Interrogate ASINs, include related ASINs and find keywords. See keyword frequency, along with Amazon SFR (Search Frequency Rank), or search popularity on Amazon. See where the product shows up on Amazon in organic search position, see the number of competing products for that keyword and more.

In short, discover all you need to know in order to make the most informed decisions when it comes to keywords.

Keyword Scout, along with other tools for taking your product listings to the next level — as well as tools for finding hot new products to sell — are in your MBS Catapult waiting for you now, and they’re free to use.

Winning In 2020 With Amazon PPC

Over the last several years Amazon PPC has gone from “nice to do” to “important”, all the way to where it sits today: a critical profit center that should be understood and used to the fullest.

In 2020, in order to rise above the competition, you, as an Amazon seller, need to be on top of your Amazon PPC game.

We were featured this week in our partner’s blog, Payability, with a post on that very subject: winning the PPC game in 2020 …

Win With Amazon PPC Campaigns In 2020

Amazon has quietly stopped featuring its private label brands it previously showed in a “Top Rated From Our Brands” widget in search results. Recently, the widget is no longer present in search results, according to a sample of searches tracked by Marketplace Pulse …

Amazon Stopped Featuring Its Own Brands in Search Results

A cranky old woman was arrested for shoplifting at the supermarket. She gave everyone a hard time, from the store manager to the security guard to the arresting officer who took her away, complaining and criticizing everything and everyone throughout the process.

When she appeared before the judge, the judge asked her what she’d stolen from the store. The lady defiantly replied, “Just a stupid can of peaches.”

The judge then asked why she’d done it.

She replied, “I was hungry and forgot to bring any cash to the store.”

The judge asked how many peaches were in the can. She replied in a nasty tone, “Nine! But why do you care about that?”

The judge answered patiently, “Well, ma’am, because I’m going to give you nine days in jail. One day for each peach.”

As the judge was about to drop his gavel, the lady’s long-suffering husband raised his hand slowly and asked if he might speak. The judge said, “Yes, sir. What do you have to add?”

The husband said meekly, “Your honor, she also stole a can of peas.”

“Do it now. Sometimes ‘later’ becomes ‘never’.”
