Good software starts with a basic philosophy. That philosophy doesn’t necessarily have to be “save the world” in scope, but having a guiding purpose helps. A drive that centers development, brings focus. Why are you doing it? How do you want to help your users?

ManageByStats is built around service. That’s a basic philosophy and is shared by many businesses. You’ve probably noticed our approach to support. We take that basic philosophy and extend it to new lengths. To us our users are family, and with that comes a desire to see them succeed. Your success is important, and not just for business reasons. We care, we want you to be able to do more, and we want you to be able to do it more easily.

To that end we keep adding features. You’ve probably noticed that too. In fact sometimes it’s like we can’t seem to help ourselves. But it’s because our goal is to offer you everything you need to manage your Amazon business, everything you need to drive sales, to interact with your customers … everything you need, all in one place.

A lofty goal, no doubt, but it stems from one of our other philosophies.

The Philosophy Of L.O.D.E.

We recently coined a phrase to describe that philosophy:

“Login Once Do Everything”, or L.O.D.E.

Perhaps not a concept unique to us, there must be other software suites with that ambition, but none that we know of in the Amazon seller space. We have competitors for different tools, of course, but no one is doing as much as we are, and no one is offering all the tools we do in one place. Not only that, more great stuff is on the way, much more, and so it occurred to us it was time for a descriptor. A phrase, a “thing” to set ManageByStats apart. To define what we’re doing, clearly and simply. Our philosophy.

Login Once, Do Everything.

Cool, eh? It defines the foundation of our purpose, which is to give Amazon sellers a single suite with multiple tools, all of which can be used by logging into one program. Call it convenience, call it a philosophy of simplicity, but with this new term, LODE, you get the idea of what we’ve been striving for. We’re not all the way there yet, and honestly we may never be (there will always be a new thing to add), but we’re close enough to announce that this has been achieved, and we decided to give it a name.

Welcome to L.O.D.E. technology.

The Goodies

Already you get a lot with your ManageByStats. Tools include:

  • Customer Reports
  • Automated Emails
  • Keywords
  • Sales Analysis
  • Inventory Management and Restock
  • Graphs
  • Stats
  • Reporting
  • Email Campaigns

You can select and configure the tools you want to use, ignore those you don’t. Once you’ve configured those you want you manage them from a single login. New tools, when added, are managed the same way.

The Philosophy Of Scale

Another philosophy we embrace is the philosophy of access. This has always been true, and this “come one come all” approach has attracted sellers of all sizes to ManageByStats.

Basic access should be the same for all users, we believe, whether big or small. This open plan has made us the most popular home for some of the largest Amazon users, and has led to a daily transactional volume through our servers that accounts for a significant slice of all global Amazon activity. ManageByStats users account for approximately 1% of all sales volume on Amazon.

Yes, that’s as huge as it sounds.

Big sellers love us, but smaller sellers like us too for that same, low rate. We start lower than the other guys, and don’t cost more as you expand. Additional services scale, sure, but that’s to keep up with overhead. For basic access all users pay one, low price.

We welcome Amazon sellers of all sizes.

Philosopher’s Stone

Historically the philosopher’s stone was something that could turn less valuable metals into silver or gold.  There were other legends as to what it could do, such as providing enlightenment, perfection, heavenly bliss.

We do have lofty goals at ManageByStats, yes, but we’re realistic. We don’t expect our software tools to provide anything quite like heavenly bliss.

With a good philosophy, though, with fundamental goals that aim for the sorts of things discussed in this article, a good software can elevate your experience. It can make management tasks easier, help you find opportunities, make you a hero with your customers and turn your business results into pure gold. We’ve based our entire development cycle on these philosophies and continue to do so. If you’re a current user of ManageByStats, we thank you. We’re very happy to have you with us.

If you’ve not yet given us a look, we invite you to poke around and see what you think. We’re here if you have any questions. Though you may not yet be a ManageByStats user, we’ll still treat you like family.

Here’s to your selling success.

All the best,

The ManageByStats Team
