MBS Adds Automated Review Request Feature To SellerMail
Hello & Welcome
Last issue we talked about the release of MBS support for Amazon’s Request For Review feature, the one-click option on each Amazon order which sends the customer Amazon’s standardized Request For Review email. Check Tips & New Stuff for the latest updates on that.
This week we’ve got some of the best sort of feedback and advice one could want:
Stories from experienced Amazon sellers.
In Seller Insight we take another look at some great insight on how to grow your YouTube channel, even from nothing. And in The World of Amazon a few key things learned selling on Amazon.
Here’s to a great week ahead.
TIPS & NEW STUFF
So what’s the latest on the Review Request feature in SellerMail?
For starters, we’ve got a new video on how to use it. Check it out:
How To Use Amazon’s Review Request In SellerMail
The feature requires the new MBS 2.0 plan (currently $59.97/mo). If you’re not on that plan, upgrading will activate Review Request in SellerMail. You can upgrade under Settings > Payments in your MBS. Contact Support with any issues and we’ll help.
The release of Review Request is the first feature for MBS 2.0, which will contain many new features and upgrades, taking advantage of Amazon’s latest API — the connection we use to build MBS tools.
Look for announcements of these new features in coming issues. Upgrading not only activates the first of those features, Review Request, it sets you up for each of the new 2.0 releases as they become available.
SELLER INSIGHT
Getting your channel off the ground on YouTube is a tough nut to crack.
If you’re just starting out, you’ll very likely find that your videos get an absolutely abysmal number of views if all you do is upload them without trying to promote your channel as hard as possible, and it can be demoralizing to put a lot of effort into your content when no one ever sees it.
So how do you grow a YouTube channel from nothing?
THE WORLD OF AMAZON
Selling on Amazon is competitive and complex, but also incredibly lucrative for sellers of all shapes and sizes …
What I Learned From Selling On Amazon
HUMOR
A gorilla goes into a bar and orders a martini. This totally amazes the bartender, but he thinks, “What the heck, I guess I might as well make the drink.” So he mixes the martini. He then walks back over to give it to the gorilla, and the animal is holding out a twenty-dollar bill.
Well, now the bartender is just at a loss for words. He can’t believe that a gorilla walked into his bar, ordered a martini, and then actually had a twenty-dollar bill to pay for it.
So, in amazement, he takes the twenty and walks to the cash register to make the change. While he’s standing in front of the cash register he stops for a second and thinks to himself, “Let me try something here and see if the gorilla notices anything.”
So he walks back over to the gorilla and hands him a dollar change. The gorilla doesn’t say anything, he just takes the dollar and sits there sipping the martini. After a few minutes the bartender can’t take it anymore.
“You know,” he says to the gorilla, “we don’t get too many gorillas in here.”
And the gorilla says, “At nineteen dollars a martini I’m not surprised.”
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“A critic is someone who comes onto the battlefield after the battle is over and shoots the wounded.”
