Knowing how you’re ranking for keywords helps you understanding your product and tailor your marketing.
Note: If you’re not already using the Keywords tool in your ManageByStats you can activate it under the Keywords menu item.
When a keyword is added it’s indexed by the system and displayed with its rank each day. Over time you will begin to build a record of each keyword’s performance.
Keyword Graphing
Graphs provide a good visual gauge of performance over time. Keyword graphs show you how your ranking is changing. When you select a keyword in the left pane you see the graph for that keyword:
You can also select and Zoom on date ranges, see the Rank movement by date, number of reviews, average star rating and BSR info.
Keeping Notes
With the MBS Keywords tool you can make notes, which will be preserved for that date. Any date with a note is marked by a line on the graph, and if rolled over will display on the graph for that date:
This is a handy tip for keeping track of changes made, and how they impacted the overall trend for that keyword’s rank.

A husband and wife who work for the circus go to an adoption agency, looking to adopt a child. Immediately the social worker raises doubts about their suitability.
So the couple produce photos of their 50-foot motor home, which is clean and well maintained and equipped with a beautiful nursery.
The social worker is satisfied by this, but then raise concerns about the kind of education a child would receive while in the couple’s care.
The husband puts their mind at ease, saying, “We’ve arranged for a full-time tutor who will teach the child all the usual subjects, along with French, Mandarin, and computer skills.”
That meets their requirements. However, the social worker next expresses concern about a child being raised in a circus environment.
This time the wife explains, “Our nanny is a certified expert in pediatric care, welfare, and diet.”
The social worker is finally satisfied, and asks the couple, “That’s all great, then. Thank you. What age child are you hoping to adopt?”
The husband says, “Doesn’t really matter, as long as the kid fits in the cannon.”
