Hello & Welcome

Some helpful “Did you know?” info in Tips & New Stuff this week.  In Sellers’ Paradise we talk about the customer experience, and in The World of Amazon the retail giant has announced a goal for one-day delivery.

Earlier this week we sent an email, called Monday Morning Roundup.  This will be where we notify you of upcoming webinars, summits, training and other opportunities.  We’ll be doing that in the Roundup email, rather than including those here in the newsletter.

If you didn’t get the Roundup, reply to this and let us know and we’ll get you on the list.

Have a great week!

TIPS & NEW STUFF

Did you know you can add Graph dashlets to your dashboards?

It’s one of the options available when customizing the dashboard in ManageByStats.

Add a Graph dashlet by hovering over an empty area of the dashboard and clicking the “+” sign:

From the selection options choose Graph, and you’re then presented with options to customize that dashlet, and can select from the full set of both Performance and Marketing graphs:

Make your selections, click Add and the dashlet is added to your dashboard.

Between Graphs, Sales, Alerts and other dashlet options, configure your dashboard to give you the at-a-glance info you need to instantly know the health of your Amazon business.

SELLERS’ PARADISE

Here at ManageByStats we’re focused on the Customer Experience.  The Customer Experience Strategy is something we’re continually working to refine, driven by the viewpoint that as an MBS user you’re part of our family, meaning your success is ours and vice versa.

We’ve written about Customer Experience, posted blogs and otherwise shared our views over the course of the last years, and certainly many of you have let us know your experience with ManageByStats.  Customer Experience, across all industries, is coming on strong. Whereas we’ve tended to focus on the philosophy and viewpoint of being a good partner, there is a very practical side to it as well, one that the business world is beginning to recognize.

To some degree we can thank Amazon for this.  Amazon has pushed harder than anyone ever has for the ultimate in customer experience and, due in part to their size, and partly to the fact that it works wonderfully, the importance of the customer experience is now recognized, and seen to, worldwide.

In fact, customer experience is the most exciting opportunity to businesses next year — yes, you read that right — and the reason is simple; the companies that focus on customer experience reduce churn and increase revenues — leading to higher profits.

Here’s an independent article covering ways to create that winning strategy …

THE WORLD OF AMAZON

Shares rose as much as 2 percent in after-hours trade as Amazon reported faster shipping will come to customers around the world, and said its profit more than doubled in the first quarter, trouncing estimates thanks to soaring demand for its cloud and ad services …

Amazon Raises Stakes With One-Day Delivery Goal

HUMOR

John lives his life by statistics and is afraid to fly. One day his friend, Bill, asks him, “Why do you have this irrational fear of flying?”

“Irrational?” John replies. “Not at all. I’ve merely calculated the odds of a bomb being on a plane and it’s much too high for my comfort.”

A few days later, Bill boards a flight only to find John sitting in the seat right next to him.

“What happened? Have the odds changed?”

“No,” John replies. “The odds of a bomb being on a plane haven’t changed. But I calculated the odds of two bombs being on a plane, and I found those odds much more acceptable. So now I just bring my own.”
