TIPS & NEW STUFF

Help Others, Make Money

Recommending services or products to others is a great way to share the value of what you yourself have discovered to be successful. Most of the time we do this simply because we want our friends to get the same benefits and enjoy the same success we have.

For manufacturers and service providers this word of mouth is pure gold.

At ManageByStats this is no different, and we decided some time ago to reward it. When you sign up for MBS you automatically get your own Affiliate link.

If you check under Settings > Affiliate Link, you’ll see it there:

Give that link to anyone you think could benefit from what ManageByStats has to offer, and you get 25% of what they pay for the main service. That’s 25% ongoing. Any payments they make for the main subscription, we pay you 25%.

All you need to do is put in your PayPal email address.

On the same page you’ll find a list of your Affiliates, along with payments received.

Consider this your Affiliate operations center. We’ve made it easy to help others, and earn money while doing so.

Win win.

THE WORLD OF AMAZON

Amazon’s first quarter earnings report last week presented analysts and investors with a financial mystery.

The company’s profits were much higher than expected, almost double its operating margin from the previous year. But its guidance for the second quarter’s results suggests that the company will be spending a lot more on … something.

But what, exactly?

“We’re currently working on evolving our Prime free two-day shipping program to be a free one-day shipping program,” Amazon’s chief financial officer Brian Olsavsky revealed on the conference call. “We’re able to do this because we’ve spent 20 plus years expanding our fulfillment and logistics network, but this is still a big investment and [there’s] a lot of work to do ahead of us.”

Amazon Shifting Its Core Shipping Benefit To One-Day Delivery

And, related humor, appropriate as we head into the Humor section of this week’s issue, here’s a funny 2-minute video …

Amazon Yesterday Shipping

HUMOR

A woman and her husband were dressed and ready to go out for a lovely evening of dinner and a movie. Having been burgled in the past, they turned on a ‘night light’ and the answering machine, then put the cat in the backyard.

When the cab arrived, they walked out the front door and their rather tubby cat scooted between their legs back inside, then ran up the stairs.

They didn’t want to leave the cat unchaperoned, so the husband ran inside to retrieve her and put her in the backyard again. The woman went to hold the cab.

She didn’t want the taxi driver to know their house was going to be empty all evening, so she explained to him that her husband would be out momentarily as he was just bidding goodnight to her mother.

A few minutes later he got into the cab all hot and bothered, and said as the cab pulled away:

“Sorry it took so long but she was hiding under the bed and I had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off so I grabbed her and wrapped her in a blanket so she wouldn’t scratch me like she did last time. But it worked! Then I hauled her down the stairs and threw her into the backyard. Don’t worry; she won’t be getting back in while we’re gone.”
