MBS In The News

Last week …

New Video Series Launching From ManageByStats

Hello & Welcome

Welcome to another edition of ManageByStats This Week. We’re exceedingly happy to have you.

Yes, exceedingly.

This week in Tips & New Stuff we cover a “Did you know” example of something that’s in your MBS, which you’re probably aware of, but might not realize to just what extent it can be used.

In Seller Insight we cover a trend you’ll be hearing more of: Experiential Marketing. Not something many private labelers are yet doing, but it’s not too early to start understanding this trend, and making plans for it.

And in The World of Amazon we have an update on Amazon advertising.

If you’re celebrating Halloween tonight, have fun, be safe, and remember to wait till you get home to eat the candy.

Have a great week!

TIPS & NEW STUFF

Did you know you can grant access to your ManageByStats to other users? If you have VAs (Virtual Assistants), partners, accountants, staff — anyone you need to have access to your MBS, you can add them and grant permissions under Settings > Users.

There you can edit existing users, or click to Add New User and invite whomever you need to have access.

Users can be assigned very specific rights. Most every function they might perform in MBS has a permission associated with it, allowing you to create granular permissions for each user as needed. General rights assignments exist, such as User, View Only, Admin, and each can be further tailored according to need.

Restrict access to certain brands, or certain functions. Give your team exactly what they need to be productive with ManageByStats, and help your business grow.

SELLER INSIGHT

A new trend, experiential marketing, is driving the way in which big brands reach and interact with their customers. Some of those tactics may be beyond the scope of the sorts of marketing activities you would normally engage in as a private seller, but the techniques can be hugely effective, and are therefore worth considering.

Experiential marketing directly engages customers, inviting them to experience brands in-person rather than putting them in the role of an observer and hoping that traditional marketing efforts will resonate with them or be memorable.

Personal interactions go a long way in gaining consumer’s buy-in and allow them to get to know the brand, what is stands for, and the people behind it …

THE WORLD OF AMAZON

And so it continues.

Amazon’s continues to gain ground in the search space, as we’ve been reporting here. Interestingly Amazon is now the only real threat to Google’s search dominance in the U.S., according to a new report from eMarketer, which forecasts that the e-commerce giant will generate more than $7 billion in search advertising revenue this year …
