Today we’re going to talk email templates. Email templates can make life easier—in some cases dramatically so—and with ManageByStats our goal has always been to make things easier. To that end we’ve now got some pretty great email templates in SellerMail (quite a few of them) and they are, at the end of the day, just the next evolution of that goal.
It started with ManageByStats. A program that set out to reduce the complexity of dealing with the data in Amazon (customers, sales, inventory) so you could spend time managing and not hunting for info. From there we added stuff. SellerMail is recent, a big feature, and it allows you to automatically add a personal touch to each order, contacting your customers after purchase, delivery – whatever you decide. Now we’ve added templates, to take that to the next level of convenience.
When crafting a customer email it isn’t always easy to come up with the right thing to say or the right way to say it. Templates help. Guidelines for successful language, links to use in the body of the email, effective subject lines and so forth. Now we have them. We’ve just added a bunch of templates to SellerMail for:
• When a customer purchases.
• When the product is shipped.
• When the product is out for delivery and
• When the product has arrived.
For each of these events we’ve got several email templates from which to choose. From mildly formal, to engaging — even kind of silly – we’ve probably got a template that will work. All intended to engage your customers and get responses and help build loyalty. In most cases the templates can be used as-is. Of course they can also serve as a springboard for ideas to create your own masterpiece.
We’re growing a little every day. Many of us here at ManageByStats use these tools for our own businesses, so we’re always looking for ways to make it better. Having templates to choose from is just one more way of making it that much easier to use the system and get effective results.
