Highly Requested Change Log Added To ManageByStats

Hello & Welcome

Welcome to a new week, a fresh start — a chance to shape your destiny according to your most determined vision. This week is, truly, the first week of the rest of your life.

Cool thing is, each week starts that way. Right? Wide-open potential, waiting only for you to craft it. To bend the universe to your ambition.

If that sounds a little too hyper-motivated for a weekly newsletter, it’s probably because we’re jazzed with what we ourselves have in store. So many great new things are on the launch pad at ManageByStats, or coming down the pike; tools, features and updates we know you’re going to love.

It’s only natural to imagine that same excitement, that same potential for each of you.

Reining it in just a bit, let’s focus on what we have this week. One of those new features, for starters; a change log that brings a new level of oversight to your Amazon biz. Check it out in Tips & New Stuff.

In The World of Amazon, the number of $1M Sellers just keeps growing. So many of you are finding wild success selling on Amazon, and that, too, excites us. Also in that section, 3 key Amazon trends to watch for in 2020.

And in Seller Insight, 5 timeless elements of powerful brand storytelling.

Go get ‘em. Here’s to bending the universe to your ambition.

TIPS & NEW STUFF

As seen in the news this week, we released a new feature that’s been in high demand:

A Change Log.

Awareness of changes made that affect your Amazon business is key to understanding how those changes impact sales. With the new change log (in your MBS now), record the changes to your business and operations you deem important — and those changes then show on the recorded date in graphs and on the dashboard.

Makes it real easy to see what’s affecting your business.

Find the Change Log feature in your MBS menu:

When you click, the Change Log dialog pops up and you’re able to enter and edit changes, categorize them by type, set the date they happened and choose whether or not to show them on graphs.

In this way, when reviewing graphs you see the changes that happened in your business and can directly observe how those changes affected — and are affecting — your statistics.

Check out the KB article on the new tool, and get started using the Change Log today:

THE WORLD OF AMAZON

Amazon Trends To Watch

Over the last quarter-century, Amazon has transformed itself from an online bookseller into an e-commerce behemoth that’s reshaping retail economics. In 2018 alone, Amazon reported more than US$232 billion in revenue — a number that’s sure to jump once 2019’s final revenue figures are released. Those eye-popping returns mean the online seller accounts for nearly 50 percent of all e-commerce revenue.

With no slowdown in sight, manufacturers and brands alike must formulate an effective Amazon strategy if they want to find e-commerce success. With that in mind, here are three Amazon trends to track in 2020 …

3 Amazon Trends to Watch in 2020

The Two-Comma Club Is Growing

The number of you here in the States in the two-comma club (sales over $1M) is growing.

You go, you Big Sellers, you.

More than 15,000 sellers based in the U.S. surpassed $1 million in sales on Amazon in 2019, the company confirmed in a statement last week. American sellers make up nearly half of the $1M+ sellers worldwide …

HUMOR

This week, a classic …

A very handsome man gets into a terrible car accident.

The doctors save his life, but he loses one eye. Before a nice glass one can be fitted, he is temporarily given a wooden eye.

The man becomes very depressed because of his eye loss and sits at home, moping around.

Eventually his friends come over and drag him out to a bar to try and cheer him up. While at the bar, he’s still just sitting there looking depressed, not really talking. One of his friends suggests he try to talk to a cute girl who seems alone at the bar.

“No, she’ll never go for a man with a wooden eye,” the man says.

“Okay, how about that girl over there?” His friend responds. “She has a really big nose.”

The man walks over to the girl and asks, “Would you like to dance?”

Very excited, and shocked, to be asked to dance by such an attractive man, the woman responds:

“Would, I?! Would I?!”

To which the man quickly responds “Big nose! Big nose!”
